UC Santa Cruz Team Page

Since National Indoors the Slugs have run off three straigt victories over solid opponents culminated by the 7-2 win today.  We got on the board early with an 8-1 win at one doubles where Marc Vartabedian and Jared Kamel dominated from the outset.  At two doubles Ilya Gendenman and Max Liberty-Point played solidly throughout for an 8-3 victory.  In an up and down match Colin Mark-Griffin and Max Ortix battled back from an early break to win the decisive third doubles match 9-7.  In singles the Slugs got straight set victories in 3-6 singles to close out the scoring.
