The Wake Forest women's team notched its second Atlantic Coast Conference win of the weekend, topping Boston College 6-1 on Sunday to follow up a 6-1 victory over Maryland on Saturday.

Wake Forest (12-4) pulled a 3-0 doubles sweep for the seventh time this season. Sierra Poske and Sasha Kulikova improved to 11-4 at No. 1 doubles with an 8-4 win over BC's (6-7, 2-4) Lauren Cash and Dasha Cherkasov.

Kulikova successfully defended her undefeated conference singles record, topping Lana Krasnopolsky at No. 1 6-3, 7-6 (10-5) to improve to 4-0 in the ACC.

Sierra Poske also battle through a second set that ended in a tiebreaker, but came out on top with a 6-2, 7-6 (3) win. Emilee Malvehy, Christian Tara and Katarina Reveche all took straight set wins. Freshman Ryann Cutillo had the only loss of the day, falling 6-3, 6-3 to Boston College senior Alina Sullivan at No. 6

Wake Forest will host its final regular season matches of 2009 next weekend. On Saturday, March 28 Wake Forest will face No. 6 Georgia Tech and on Sunday the Deacons host No. 13 Clemson for Senior Day.
