Weymouth, Ma - The Boston College women's tennis team picked up their second ACC win of the season on Sunday afternoon, defeating the University of Maryland 7-0.

The Eagles swept the boards in single competition picking up wins in spots one through six for Lana Krasnopolsky, Lauren Cash, Katarina Gajic, Katharine Attwell, Brittany Delaney and Alina Sullivan.

Krasnopolsky rallied to defeat challenger Eleanor Peters after dropping her first set to post a victory in three (3-6, 6-4, 6-3).

The Eagles swept the Terrapins in straight sets in positions two through six.

In doubles play Cash and partner Dasha Cherkasov dropped the No. 1 doubles match 8-7, but the Eagles secured the doubles point with victories in the No. 2 and No. 3 positions from Sullivan and Gajic and Attwell and Krasnopolsky respectively.

The Eagles continue their ACC schedule traveling to North Carolina to take on the NC State Wolfpack on Saturday March 21 at 12 p.m.
