Honolulu (10/10/09) - The Rainbow Wahine Invitational wrapped up today with three HPU women's tennis players in action. All matches were played at the UH Tennis Complex.
A total of six singles matches were completed in the three-team field, which included Texas State, HPU, and host UH-Manoa.
Zora Vlckova and Tinka Mihova were both victorious on the afternoon. Vlckova topped Kiki Kruse, 6-4, 6-1, and Mihova defeated Nyssa Peele 7-5, 2-6, 6-4. Ingrid Cseh fell to Andrea Giraldo, 7-5, 6-1.
All three opponents were from the Texas State team.
