The Ragin' Cajun Men's Team better be ready to hit the Spring immediately as it faces arguably its toughest opponents in the first 4 weeks of the season. The Cajuns start with 7th Ranked Baylor then 57th Ranked Arkansas, followed by 55th Ranked Texas A&M CC and finally 28th ranked LSU.
"This is going to be a great test for our team coming out of the gates. It will put us on a path very early in the season, a path that we need to take advantage of. Last years team performed reasonably well at
16-7 but the expectations for this team is definitely much higher. We feel we have added 2 players that are going to make an immediate impact on our lineup, whilst we only lost our number 5 player last year with everyone else returning. We look forward to the challenge ahead", said Coach Mark Jeffrey.
The Cajuns have recently re-surfaced their courts, also added a brand new audio system with spectator enhancement. The Cajuns have a seating crowd capacity of 1000 that they plan to fill out this year.
"One of our goals this year is to fill the stands. When I first came here we had little attendance, last year we averaged 120 per match up 200%. This year we plan to get that figure around 500. It is a step in the right direction for this program to go to the next level".
If you haven't been to a Cajun Match well it is a treat. The Cajuns always have a food and prize sponsor with National Anthems and Half Time Shows you will remember.
