Missing Emily Leverett of Raymond for the day, the Pearl River Lady Wildcats were unable to play the No.3 doubles and the No.6 singles courts, but the Lady Wildcats won 4 of 7 courts played during the match-up with the Lady Warriors of East Central.
 
In doubles, the Lady Wildcats could not pull any of the courts.  At No.1, Kasey King of Purvis and Janae Norwood of Hattiesburg fell to Elise Gibbs and Abby McMillan 8-1, and at No.2, Alyssa Wolfe of Foxworth and Kristen Barber of Sandy Hook were defeated by Rachel Ramirez and Hannah Peoples 8-4. The No.3 doubles court was not played.
 
In singles, the Lady Wildcats four of the five positions played. At No.1, King defeated Anna Alexander 6-1, 6-0; at No.2 Norwood defeated McMillan 6-3, 6-1; at No.3 Wolfe defeated Ramirez 6-2, 2-6, 10-4; at No.4 Barber fell to Peoples 7-6(4), 6-4; and at No.5 Kenyatta Epps defeated Elkins 6-0, 6-0.
 
The Pearl River Lady Wildcats travel to Booneville, Monday, March 29, to take on the Northeast Mississippi Community College Lady Tigers at 10 a.m. and then travel to Fulton to compete with the Itawamba Community College Indians at 3:30 p.m.
