BATON ROUGE – After winning their first home match of the season against Clemson on Thursday, the 28th-ranked LSU men’s tennis team will waste no time as they travel to Ann Arbor, Mich., to take on No. 31 Michigan Saturday.

The Tigers enter the competition with a 3-1 record and are 4-0 all-time against the Wolverines.

“Michigan is a great indoor venue,” head coach Jeff Brown said. “We are looking at this as an opportunity to get some work indoors and prepare for the SEC matches that often times end up inside due to bad weather.”

Senior Neal Skupski and sophomore James Turbervill come into the match undefeated in doubles play.  They look to play a key role in the Tigers’ success on Saturday.

No. 68 junior Olivier Borsos dealt with a hard loss against Clemson’s 59th-ranked Yannick Maden in his last outing, and he looks to bounce back on court one for LSU.

Borsos will face a tough challenge in No. 6 Evan King who has won three straight at the top spot for the Wolverines.

The match is set to begin on the Varsity Tennis Courts Saturday at 5:00 p.m. CT.
