BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's tennis team will continue its fall schedule with a visit to the University of Georgia this weekend to compete in the Bulldog Classic. Play will begin on Friday, Oct. 12 and run through Sunday.

The format for this weekend is a round-robin singles and doubles event. Along with Indiana, Georgia and Virginia will be competing, making for a very competitive field for the Hoosiers. No. 50 Leslie Hureau will look to improve on a solid opening tournament two weeks ago. Alecia Kauss will also look to continue her stellar play after a perfect 3-0 start in the top draw of the Adidas Hoosier Classic.

Georgia has three singles players in the ITA rankings, led by No. 37 Maho Kowase. Also ranked for the Bulldogs are No. 53 Lauren Herring and N. 62 Kate Fuller. In doubles, Georgia's Fuller and Herring pair up to rank No. 30 nationally and Kowase and Lilly Kimbell combine to rank No. 50.

For Virginia, four players are ranked in singles in Li Xi (No. 77), Hana Tomijanovic (No. 95), Maria Fuccillo (No. 99) and Erin Vierra (No. 103). Another standout on the Cavalier roster is freshman Julia Elbaba, who was runner-up at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championshps last week.
