 NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team travels to Austin, Texas, for the Longhorn Invitational Friday, Nov. 2.

 
This is the first tournament of the fall season attended by all 10 men's tennis players.
 
Every player will compete in singles. The All-American tandem of Costin Paval and Dane Webb will compete in doubles. The duos of Peerakit Siributwong and Leonard Stakhovksy, Nick Papac and John Harrison Warden and Guillermo Alcorta and Axel Alvarez Llamas will also compete.
 
Alcorta and Alvarez Llamas enter the tournament after sweeping the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Championships in Minneapolis, Minn.
 
ITA No. 28 Alcorta beat Minnesota's No. 50 Leandro Toledo 6-4, 6-1, to win the singles title. The duo of Alcorta and Alvarez Llamas defeated Drake's No. 59 tandem Anis Ghorbel and James Mckie 8-4 to win the doubles title.
 
Along with No. 28 Alcorta, OU has three other men ranked in the ITA preseason singles ranking. Senior Costin Paval is ranked No. 6, Dane Webb is No. 57 and Peerakit Siributwong is No. 97 among the 125 singles players ranked.
 
OU's two freshmen also grabbed spots in the 10-member preseason freshman/newcomer rankings. Leonard Stakhovsky made the list at No. 3 and Alvarez Llamas claimed the No. 7 spot.
 
This is the Sooners' final tournament before the USTA/ITA Indoor Championships in Queens, N.Y.
