ATHENS, Ga. – The Alabama men’s tennis team collected two wins on Friday on the first day of play at the Georgia Bulldog Scramble, which is being held at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. One of the Crimson Tide’s victories came in doubles play while the other was in singles.
In doubles, Stuart Kenyon and Brian Conlon outlasted the Georgia duo of Nathan Pasha and Eric Diaz to record an 8-6 victory. Alabama’s singles win also came against the Bulldogs as Harris Barnard downed Will Oliver in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1.
Matches will resume at 8:30 a.m. CT on Saturday in Athens.
