CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The 13th-ranked University of Miami women's tennis team will hit the road to face No. 32 Georgia Tech at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex in Atlanta on Saturday at 12 p.m.

In their last match, the Hurricanes (7-3, 1-1 ACC) won a nail-biter against Clemson, taking down the Tigers, 4-3. The 43rd-ranked pair of sophomore Lina Lileikite and freshman Stephanie Wagner cruised to a decisive 8-3 victory, and the duo of freshman Kelsey Laurente and junior Brittany Dubins battled to a narrow 9-8 win to earn Miami the doubles point.

On the singles side, junior Melissa Bolivar won her match easily, 6-0, 6-4, to earn Miami another point. However, sophomore Monique Albuquerque and Laurente (#74) both dropped their matches, as did Lileikite (#110), despite a valiant comeback effort. The Canes found themselves trailing Clemson 3-2, but freshman Clementina Riobueno (#91) won 6-2, 6-4 to even the score, and within seconds, Wagner had a 7-5, 6-3 victory and the win for Miami. Riobueno and Wagner move to 11-2 and 10-3 in spring singles play, respectively.

Georgia Tech (5-4) is coming off of a strong showing last weekend, beating both North Texas and Miami University, 4-0. Sophomore Muriel Wacker won both of her singles matches handily, 6-1, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-1. She is now 6-3 in spring singles play. The duo of freshmen Kendal Woodard and Megan Kurey swept the weekend as well, winning 8-0 and 8-4 and improving their spring record to 12-4.

The Hurricanes and the Yellow Jackets last faced off in the quarterfinals of the ACC Championship on April 20, 2012. Georgia Tech, then ranked 25th, upset then-No. 9 Miami, 4-3.
