DURHAM, N.C. – The draft for the 2014 ITA Kick-Off Weekend was held Thursday, June 6 with the Duke men’s tennis team selected as one of 15 host sites.
The Blue Devils will be the top seed in the region and will serve as a host site for the fourth consecutive season. The squad will be joined in Durham by the No. 2 seed San Diego St., No. 3 seed North Carolina and No. 4 seed Oregon.
This past season, Duke logged wins against Middle Tennessee St. and Northwestern during the ITA Kick-Off Weekend and went on to record wins over No. 8 Oklahoma and No. 5 Pepperdine at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Seattle.
The tournament will take place January 24-27, 2014, with winners of each site advancing to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships Feb. 14-17 in College Station, Texas.
