Cal Claims Final Rankings in ITA Polls

BERKELEY - The California men's tennis team earned three singles rankings and three doubles rankings in the final ITA polls of the season, the governing body of college tennis announced on Wednesday.

In singles, junior Ben McLachlan, who fell in the round of 64 of the NCAA Singles Championship, garnered a No. 44 ranking, junior Campbell Johnson - who also fell in the NCAA round of 64 - earned a No. 64 ranking and senior Christoffer Konigsfeldt finished his college career at No. 93.

Johnson and Konigsfeldt - the 2013 Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year - paired up to reach the round of 32 in the NCAA Doubles Championship and ended the year with a No. 38 ITA ranking. McLachlan and senior Riki McLachlan received a final ranking of No. 73, while the tandem of Ben McLachlan and freshman Mads Engsted claimed a No. 82 final ranking.

The Cal team - which had with a final ITA ranking of No. 17- ended its season in the NCAA round of 16.
