BOISE, Idaho - Former Bronco Eric Roberson and his partner, Yasmin Schnack, earned a mixed doubles slot in the US Open. The duo won the US Open National Playoff Mixed Doubles title for the US Open draw, defeating Matt Brooklyn and Stephanie Wetmore, 6-1, 6-4.

Roberson and Schnack will compete against Filip Polasck and Janette Husarova in the first round. The winners of that match will face Kveta Peschke and Marcin Matkowski in the second round.

In his days at Boise State, Roberson earned All-WAC honors and finished his collegiate campaign with a 94-45 singles record and an 89-57 doubles record. The 2008 Boise State graduate helped the team clinch the 2005 WAC title by upsetting Rice in the title match at the University of Hawaii Tennis Complex.
