The finals are set in Tulsa at the 2013 Saint Francis ITA Men's All-American Championships and it will be Virginia junior Mitchell Frank taking on Oklahoma senior Guillermo Alcorta.

Frank won both of his matches today in straight sets first defeating Illinois sophomore Jared Hiltzik 6-2 7-6 in the quarterfinals then knocking off Baylor sophomore Julian Lenz 6-2 6-3 in the semifinals.

Alcorta had a much tougher go of it in his quartefinal match against Baylor senior Patrick Pradella needing 3 sets to pull out a 3-6 6-0 6-4 win.  In the semifinals he faced a worn out AJ Austin who was on court for over 3 hours in his quartefinal match and therefore just didn't have enough in the tank to keep it close as Alcorta pulled away for a 6-0 6-3 victory.

So now lets take a look at the Championship match.

Mitchell Frank (Virginia) vs. Guillermo Alcorta (Oklahoma) - Frank and Alcorta aren't complete strangers as they have met once prior with that encounter coming back in 2011 at #3 singles of a dual match between UVA and OU.  It was Mitchell Frank winning that one 6-4 1-6 6-3 and I look for the Virginia junior to do it again and claim his 2nd All American Championship.  Prediction:  Frank (UVA) 6-4 6-4
