USC junior Sabrina Santamaria will add another stamp to her passport this month when she heads off to France for competition as a member of the United States' team at the Master'U BNP Paribas competition. Santamaria is one of three U.S. collegiate women selected to the team, which will compete against teams from Belgium, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland and Russia in action held Nov. 29-Dec. 1 in Aix-en-Provence, France.

This past summer, Santamaria followed up a trip to Russia as a member of the USA's World University Games team with a tour through Europe alongside teammate and longtime friend Kaitlyn Christian. Now, Santamaria will join up with non-Trojan teammates for competition in France. Santamaria, who ranks as the nation's No. 1 singles player and half of the No. 1 doubles team, is joined by UCLA's Robin Anderson and Georgia's Lauren Herring as the U.S. women on this year's trip to France. On the men's side, UCLA's Marcos Giron, Ohio State's Peter Kobelt and Virginia's Mitchell Frank round out the USA contingent for the Master'U competition.

Santamaria follows in the footsteps of several other standout Trojans to make the venture to France for Master'U action. USC's Steve Johnson, Daniel Nguyen and Maria Sanchez have also represented Team USA in the past and helped win titles for the United States in past years.
