NOTRE DAME, Ind. --- The University of Notre Dame women's tennis team will welcome two new student-athletes in the fall of 2014. Head coach Jay Louderback announced this week that Brooke Broda and Allison Miller has signed National Letters of Intent to attend Notre Dame.

Broda hails from West Chester, Ohio and attends Lakota West High School. She is currently ranked seventh in her class, according to TennisRecruiting.com.

Miller, a native of Norcross, Ga., attends Rivers Academy and is currently ranked 28th at TennisRecruiting.com.

The two future members of the Fighting Irish are actually already friends, as they have known each other for two years and even played doubles together at multiple tournaments.

"We are very excited to have signed a class that is the perfect fit for Notre Dame in the classroom and on the court," Louderback says. "Both Allison and Brooke bring a great desire to ensure the continued success of our program.  They should make a big impact on both our singles and doubles lineup.  The experience they have on a national stage will make their transition into college tennis much smoother.  The addition of two lefties will give us some interesting options for our doubles teams in the future."
