This will be the kickoff weekend for outdoor tennis in many parts of the country though colder temperatures will keep play indoors in the Midwest and East Coast. The premier match of the day will take place in Columbus as Ohio State looks to keep its 181 match home court winning streak alive as they take on a young but very talented North Carolina team. The SEC opens conference play this weekend with all teams in action either today or Sunday with the top match of the day today being the Florida/Texas A&M tilt in College Station. Many of the west coast schools are participating in the Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championship this weekend in La Jolla, Ca however both Washington and Oregon are staying home and will face each other tonight in Eugene. There will also be bragging rights at stake in Ann Arbor as Michigan hosts state rival Michigan State.
