CARY, N.C. -- Boston College women's tennis, which defeated Pittsburgh in the first round of the 2014 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship on Wednesday, fell to No. 7 seed Notre Dame, 4-0, in second-round play on Thursday at the Cary Tennis Park.
 
With the loss, the Eagles fall to 14-9 overall. Notre Dame, which improves to 16-8 on the season, moves on to face No. 2 seed Miami on Friday, April 25 at noon.
 
BC, which went 5-6 in regular-season ACC competition, earned the No. 10 seed and captured the program's first league tournament victory (over the Panthers) yesterday.
