The Mitchell Tennis Center also will serve as the host site for the women's ITA Kick-Off Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, and one ticket is good for both the men's and women's matches for the entire day. Tickets can be purchased in advance at 12thManFoundation.com or on the day of the match at the entrance to the Mitchell Tennis Center beginning one hour before first serve.

The Aggies enter the weekend with a pair of ranked singles players; No. 5 Arthur Rinderknech and No. 29 Shane Vinsant. The duo are ranked No. 12 in the doubles poll, but have yet to feature together in a dual match this season. Joining Rinderknech and Vinsant in the doubles rankings are junior Max Lunkin and sophomore Jordi Arconada. Lunkin and Arconada played an unfinished match Sunday against Lamar, the maroon and white pair were up 4-3 when the double point was clinched.

A&M opened the season last weekend defeating No. 66 UTSA, 6-1, and Lamar, 7-0, at Mitchell. Texas A&M head coach Steve Denton played 12 different singles players across the two matches, going 11-1 in those matches. The Aggies swept the doubles points as Rinderknech and senior Jackson Withrow went 2-0 on doubles court one, while Vinsant and sophomore AJ Catanzariti were 2-0 on the second court. Junior James Martell and a freshman trio of Sam Giammalva, Aleksandre Bakshi and Henry Gordon all collected their first collegiate dual victories last weekend.
