The US Open has been evolving and improving for many decades just like casino online games. The tourney conducted it first women’s singles champions back in 1887. From the said year up to 1974, the competition was played on grass before it moved to clay courts around 1975 to 1977.  However, after 1977 until date the US Open has been conducted on hard courts. In addition, those courts has given birth to many women legends as well as villains.

Nevertheless, we are not interested in talking about villains are we? We are much interested in the youngest women who became legends of the game. We are very aware of the Williams sisters but there are actually more unsung heroines in the US Open Women singles. Let us have a quick look at the youngest women singles champions that have graced the US Open in the previous years.

Steffi Graf
Steffi Graf made numerous headlines with the way she swung her racket in the tennis court. Her tennis prowess made her to win 22 Grand Slam titles and she held the World Number 1 ranking for a record of the longest-spell of 377 weeks. Her march towards greatness kick-started in 1988 when she won her second Grand Slam title at the Australian Open. She went on and win the French Open, Wimbledon and Olympics Gold medal.
Moreover, Graf won a tough 3-set contest win to walk away with the US Open for the first time. This was her first US Open victory for the first time at the age of 19years 88 days.

Serena Williams
If Graf has made it to the list. It is not surprising that Serena Williams too makes it to the list of champions.

According to casinosnz.io, Serena Williams came to the US Open as the 7th seed. During the tourney, she faced some tough matches. In the 3rd and 4th round, she came from a set down against Kim Clijsters and Conchita Martinez.
During the quarterfinals she had to come from behind again against Monica Seles as she qualifies a 3-set victory against Lindsay Davenport before making to the final to face Martina Hingis. Serena William was just 17 years, 350 days when she won the US Open title.
