Aaron Yovan comes to UC Irvine women's tennis from Max Performance Tenni, a company he runs that specializes in coaching tennis clinics, since August 2007.

Yovan played 3 years at #1 ranked UCLA as part of a three-time Pac 10 team champion. He finished up his college career as the #1 in singles and doubles at UCI for the 2006-2007 season. He went 13-10 in singles and a combined 16-6 in doubles earning All-Big West First Team honors in singles and All-Big West Second Team honors in doubles. Following his UCI career, Yovan qualified for pro tournaments around the country competing against former top 10 players in the world.

He is a USPTA certified coach and has been teaching for 7 years.
He specializes in juniors, and has also traveled on the pro circuit coaching pros.

Yovan was also a very decorated player coming out of high school as a National Singles Champion and National Doubles Champion. He was the #1 Doubles player in the Country in the 16s, #8 Singles player in the country in the 16s, and #1 varsity singles all 4 years at University High School where he also made 4 CIF finals appearances winning 3 straight CIF titles.

His full name is Aaron Yovan born in Newport Beach, Calif. His parents are Ronald and Lynn Yovan and also a sister, Amy.

Yovan admires Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras, and enjoys listening to music and playing the guitar.
