Roberto Quintanilla
Quintanilla joins the coaching staff after playing for the Kangaroos from 2002-06. During his time on the court, Quintanilla helped UMKC make three Mid-Con Championship appearances during his four-year career and to a pair of third place finishes (2003 and 2005). He closed out his playing career with a 14-34 record at the No. 4-6 singles positions and a 15-31 record at the No. 3 doubles line.
The Santa Cruz, Bolivia, native also excelled in the classroom during his time at UMKC, as he was named to the Mid-Con Winter/Spring Academic all-Conference team in both 2004 and 2006.
With the 'Roos, Quintanilla will have the opportunity to coach his younger brother Erwin, who is a junior on the UMKC men's team.
