2001-2002 (sophomore) : Participated in three tournaments during the fall season. At the Wathen/Hancock Bulldog Classic at Fresno State played fairly well reaching the Quarterfinals in doubles with teammate Axel Elvik losing to Fresno State's Suta/Fustar. In singles lost a tight match to Santa Clara's Chris Lam in three sets but rebounded in the consolation beating Josh Braley of Santa Clara before losing to Nevada-Reno's Chad Stoloff. At the Pacific Tigers Invitational in Stockton,CA lost another close match to Sacramento State's Sheriff Zahir in the round of 32, but bounced back and won three straight matches over Nicholas Otte from the University of Pacific, Chad Stoloff from Nevada-Reno, and Matt Jones from Sacramento State to win the consolation A backdraw. In the Omni Hotels Northern California Region Championships in Santa Clara defeated Kyle Halberg from the University of Oregon before losing to #75 ranked Peter Malacek from the University of Portland. 2000-2001 (Freshman) : During the Fall, participated in the Stockwatch.com Invitational in Stockton,CA winning the A Flight backdraw. In the ITA Rolex Regionals lost his first round match to Nicholas Weiss from the University of Washington. During the Spring Season was the team's # 1 player in dual matches with a record of 8-12. Teamed up with Brad White at the # 1 Doubles spot and has a dual match record of 13-6 with wins over Saint Mary's College, Gonzaga, U.S. Airforce Academy, and the University of Portland.
