AS A JUNIOR (2003-04)

*     Redshirted the season.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2002-03)

*    Earned 2003 first-team Academic All-Big 12 honors.

*    Posted a 12-6 singles record in dual meets, including a 7-1 mark at the No. 6 spot in the lineup.

*    Played as high as No. 4 in the singles lineup and posted a 1-1 mark at that position.

*    Helped UT retain the “Texas Cup” over Texas A&M for the third consecutive year by defeating Jerry Nallon at the No. 6 position in three sets (4-6, 6-4, 6-2).

*    Began the fall season winning five of his first six singles matches.

*    Recorded a victory at No. 5 singles against Southern California, which helped guide Texas to a ninth-place team finish at the USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championships (Feb. 22).

 

AS A FRESHMAN (2001-02)

*    Posted a 15-6 dual-match singles record, including a 10-3 mark at the No. 6 position.

*    Compiled a 23-14 overall record in singles.

*    Recorded a comeback win over Khaled El Dorry (4-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4) at No. 6 singles to give UT a 4-3 victory over Texas A&M (April 13).

*    Finished Big 12 play with a 5-1 mark in singles.

*    Tallied a 13-4 overall record in doubles.

*    Teamed with senior Michael Domanski to post a 2-0 dual match doubles mark during NCAA Regional Championship action.

 

BEFORE TEXAS

*    Earned the No. 1 ranking in the Texas 18-and-under singles division, as well as a top 10 national ranking during 2000-01.

*    Ranked in the top 10 nationally in singles during 1999-2000.

*    Teamed with Drew Hoskins to reach a No. 2 doubles ranking in the 18-and-under division in both 2000 and 2001.

*    Helped the USTA Texas Section team claim the 2001 Intersectional Team Championship.

*    Recipient of the 2001 McKinnley National Sportsmanship Award.
