BEFORE TEXAS

*   A three-time Kansas high school state champion in singles who posted a 22-0 record during his senior season.

*   Recognized as an all-state performer and player of the year selection three consecutive years (2002-2004).

*   Finished third in singles at the 2004 Easter Bowl Championships.

*   Claimed the singles title in Boys’ 18 at the National Winter Championships in 2003.

*   Recorded a victory in the finals of the 2002 Super National Hard Court Championships.

*   Made appearances in singles and doubles at the 2002 U.S. Open Junior Championships.
