×     Recognized as a NJCAA All-American in 2003 and 2004.

×     Helped Tyler JC capture the 2003 and 2004 NJCAA National Championships.

×     Awarded the 2004 National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletics Administrators Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

×     Four-year letterwinner at Lindale HS under the direction of Ike Anders and Kirk Kniffen.

×     Earned the AAA State Doubles title in 2001 and 2002, and helped Lindale capture the AAA State Team Tennis Championship in 1999.

×     Member of the Lindale band, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and National Honor Society.
