•Defeated North Carolina's Oystein Steiro by a 6-4, 6-3 count at No. 5 singles to help Texas to a 5-2 win on the 17th-ranked Tar Heels' home indoor courts
•Won the consolation draw at the ITA Texas Regional Championships with wins over Texas Tech's Jeff Bryan (4-6, 6-3, 1-0), Lamar's Carlos Valdenebro (6-1, 6-3), Rice's Peter Frank (6-3, 7-6) and UT Arlington's David Subirats (7-5, 6-4)
•Defeated Wichita State's Tomislav Gregurovic (7-5, 6-1) in the opening round of the pre-qualifying draw at the ITA All-American Championships
•Notched a 6-4, 6-3 win over Notre Dame's Spencer Talmadge at the Olympia Fields Fighting Illini Invitational
AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10)
• posted a 9-6 overall singles record and a 2-0 mark in dual-match play
• tallied a 4-0 dual-match doubles record
