2002-03 -- Finished the season with the third best winning percentage on the team (.476)...went undefeated in doubles with partner Kendall Exelby at the No. 2 spot...had season-best match at the WAC Championships where she defeated SMU's Kita Carson, 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (7-2).
PRIOR TO UTEP -- Played two seasons at Lee College in Baytown, Texas...led the Lady Rebels to the NJCAA National Championship last season...ranked as high as No. 1 in the nation before finishing with a national ranking of No. 3 in singles play....also ranked fourth nationally in doubles...advanced to the national semifinals in both doubles and singles...earned the sophomore first team All-America honors in both doubles and singles from the NJCAA...garnered first team All-America honors in both singles and doubles from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)...led Lee College to a runner-up finish in 2001 as a freshman after she finished second in both singles and doubles in Flight Two at the NJCAA Championships...named second team All-America by the NJCAA in both singles and doubles, while the ITA honored her with first team All-America honors...graduated from Sports Gymnasium High School in Ljubljana, Slovenia...a top 15 juniors player in Slovenia, Martina was a member of the national team...lost in the finals of the Under-18 national championships in 1998 and has played in several International Tennis Federation tournaments in Europe.
PERSONAL -- Martina is the daughter of Anton Rezar of Ljubljana, Slovenia....has one brother (Matej)....born on Sept. 15, 1981 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
