After a challenging start to her inaugural year (3-9), Fuentes adapted to the tougher competition and proved to be a key player for the Orange and Blue ... energized the Miners at the onset of dual-match by play winning eight of her first nine contests ... aiding stretch was a season-best five-match victory streak ... overall, finished with 14 triumphs ... win total included 10 in dual-match play ... posted an impressive mark of 3-1 in three-set tilts ... compiled 15 wins in doubles action to place tied for third on the squad ... member of the C-USA Academic Honor Roll, one of six Miners to be so distinguished.
