Warhawk Men take 2 more against regional foes improving to 19-8 on the season

The UW-Whitewater Men's team took out Illinois Wesleyan 9-0 and Lawrence University 8-1 this week to raise their record to 19-8 on the season. 
 
 
On Wednesday in the team's final home contest of the year the players all looked sharp, here are the scores.

On Saturday the Hawks continued their tear, even with Timmy Moller out of the lineup.  They were able to capture each match in straight sets except Alex Lowe who lost to Ryan Dunn in a third set match tiebreak.  Lowe was serving for the match and had a match point in the second set at 5-4,  but that's when Dunn really picked things up and never looked back.

This coming weekend the Men and Women Warawk Teams will each be traveling to Bourbonnais, IL to play Cathage at 9am and host Olivet Nazarene at 2pm on Saturday.  This will conclude the regular season.  The women will then play at home the folllowing weekend at the WIAC Automatic Quailifying tournament for a birth to the NCAA, and the men will await to hear if they will be selected to the NCAA field for the third consecutive year.
