2002-03: First collegiate match victory came in two sets, 6-3, 6-1, against New Mexico State at the New Mexico Invite (Oct. 11) • posted an overall 9-16 record at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, including a 4-4 mark in tournament play and 0-3 in conference action • teamed with Jason Tan most of the season at the No. 3 position for a 10-4 doubles record • also played with Viktor Zetterholm (No. 3, 4-1), Urban Ljubic (tournament play, 5-2) and Bob Matteson (No. 3, 0-1) for an overall doubles record of 19-8.


Before Denver: Played at Regis High School where he was a four-year letterwinner and went 43-1 in his final two seasons at No. 3 singles • won back-to-back state individual titles in those same seasons • named to the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News all-state tennis teams twice • had an 87-5 overall record during his high school career • helped lead Regis to four straight 5A Continental League Championships during his high school career • his team had two runner-up state finishes and one state championship (2001).
