2006-07: Became the first NCAA Division I All-American in DU history after a record-breaking season • posted a school record 32-6 singles mark and added a 27-8 doubles mark with partner Niklas Persson • ranked as high as No. 17 (best in school history) in singles and finished with a No. 24 ranking • advanced to the NCAA Singles Championships for the second time • named DU Male Athlete of the Year • posted an 8-2 record against ranked opponents • earned All-Sun Belt Conference singles honors for the third consecutive season and All-SBC doubles accolades with Persson for the second consecutive season • garnered the Mountain Region Arthur Ashe Award for leadership and sportsmanship after posting an 18-2 spring dual record • holds DU career records in wins (83), winning percentage (.828) and doubles winning percentage (.724) • two-time SBC Player of the Week and two-time SBC Commissioner's honoree for a 3.5 GPA or better.

2004-05: Earned an automatic qualification into the NCAA Men's Singles Championship • Posted a 23-6 overall record at No. 1 singles, earning All-Sun Belt Conference honors • Defeated Eduardo Autran 6-3, 6-1to lead DU past Arkansas-Little Rock to advance to the semifinals of the Sun Belt tournament for the first time in school history • Also defeated Luke Shields of Boise State 6-3, 6-2 • Teamed up with Niklas Persson at No. 1 doubles for an 11-6 overall record • Holmstorm and Persson also helped clench the doubles point in the Pioneers quarterfinal win over UALR, defeating Edson Abrao and Autran 8-5 • Longest singles winning streak: seven matches.
