Ducks Head to Southern Cal for Three Match Road Trip

EUGENE, Ore.—The No. 43 University of Oregon men’s tennis is set to travel to Southern California for a three-match road trip against UC Santa Barbara, No. 4 Southern California and No. 2 UCLA. Oregon will face UCSB on Thursday at 2 p.m. in Santa Barbara, Calif. before heading to Los Angeles to take on USC and UCLA on Friday (1:30 p.m.) and Saturday (1 p.m.), respectively.

After defeating Stanford for the first time in school history last weekend, the Ducks are 15-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play. Top duo of Robin Cambier and Jeff Mullen recently cracked the ITA Tennis rankings for top doubles teams at No. 56 after taking down Stanford’s 26th ranked duo. Oregon is 77-33 in singles this season and 45-9 in doubles.

The UCSB Gauchos are 8-9 overall this season and are coming off of a 5-2 loss to UC Irvine.

The Trojans are 20-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play this season, with their only two losses coming against No. 1 Virginia and No. 2 UCLA in February. Eight Trojans are ranked amongst the top 125 singles players in the country, while five USC duos are ranked amongst the top 90 duos in the country.

UCLA is 18-1 overall and 4-0 in the Pac-12 thus far with its only loss coming against USC in the National Indoor Championships. Four Bruins are individually ranked by the ITA, while three Bruin duos are amongst the top 90 duos in the nation, according to ITA.
