Carey came up huge for the Vols in the stretch run by winning his last six matches, including two wins in the SEC Championships and one in the NCAA Regionals ... He ably manned positions 4-6 during his rookie campaign ... Carey upset No. 79 Jeff Laski of Illinois and No. 100 Edo Bawano of Kentucky ... Carey’s doubles success was even more impressive ...
