FALL SEASON:
    Opened fall season at the SEC Fall Classic, where he reached the consolation quarterfinals in singles. His two wins in the back draw came against Kentucky's Nils Ellefson and Arkansas' Jacob Herndon. Lost in the opening round of qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships. Reached singles quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, losing to teammate Mikelis Libietis. It was his best finish in a 64-player or larger draw. He went 3-1 in the tournament in singles. Teamed up with Brandon Fickey to win the doubles title at the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational in Orlando, Fla., to close the fall season. They went 5-0 over the weekend, beating No. 51 Nemscek and Findel-Hawkins of North Florida 8-7 (4) in the final.

    Primarily played No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles with Mikelis Libietis to start junior year, but later moved to No. 4 singles and No. 2/3 doubles with Brandon Fickey. He finished with career bests in singles (21) and doubles (26) wins.     Kicked off the fall season by capturing the doubles title at the Baylor HEB Intercollegiate with Edward Jones, beating Baylor's Krickovic and Verzaal 8-6 in the championship match. Also reached the third round in singles at Baylor Reached the final round qualifying in singles at the All-American Championships and made the quarterfinals in doubles with Mikelis Libietis, knocking off the eighth-ranked team of Camillone and Holiner of Texas Won a pair of matches in singles and doubles at the Tennessee Fall Invitational before injuring his ankle Reached second round of the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, losing to eventual champion Ryan Lipman.

    In his first season in the lineup full time, Chaplin started season primarily at No. 4 singles and played a majority of matches at No. 2 doubles with Edward Jones Started doubles season out on a five-match winning streak at No. 3 with Peter Nagovnak Went on a three-match winning streak in singles and was instrumental in the Vols' 4-3 victory over Ole Miss to earn a spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. It was Chaplin's first ranked doubles win.

    Arrived just in time for the spring season, joining the team in Hawaii in January for the Rainbow Warrior Challenge Became the "seventh starter" in the Vols' singles lineup, finding his way into the top six for seven dual matches Also played in seven dual matches in doubles, mostly at the No. 2 position with Rhyne Williams and John-Patrick Smith Finished 8-8 in singles and 7-4 in doubles Cracked the lineup for the first time at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships because of illness, and defeated Luke Marchese 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 to propel the Vols to a 4-3 over Duke in the semifinals Also stepped into the No. 5 position to collect a key three-setter over Blake Bazarnik to help the Vols in a 4-3 win at Vanderbilt.

    In 2010, played his way through qualifying into the main draw of the Junior Australian Open Ranked as high as No. 72 in the ITF World Junior Rankings Member of the 2008 Australian Junior Davis Cup team Reached the doubles semifinals of three ITF Futures events in Australia in the year before joining the Vols.
