Tennis Match vs. No. 1 Virginia Moved to Saturday
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The 25th-ranked Wake Forest men's tennis team's match against No. 1 Virginia that was originally scheduled for Friday has been moved to Saturday at noon due to inclement weather in the forecast. The match will still be played at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex and admission is free.
The No. 25 Demon Deacons carry a 14-5 (3-1 ACC) record into the match and are tied for fourth place in the ACC. The top-ranked Cavaliers are 15-0 (4-0 ACC) and sit atop the conference standings.
The Deacons' second match of the weekend, against No. 55 Virginia Tech, is still set for Sunday at noon. A ceremony will be held in between doubles and singles to dedicate the varsity courts to legendary men's tennis coach Jim Leighton.
