  Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University baseball coach Allen Osborne and head men’s and women’s tennis coach Michael Cabana announce changes to upcoming playing schedules.

 

            The Wingate at Mars Hill South Atlantic Conference baseball series has been moved from Friday-Saturday to Saturday-Sunday, due to winter weather in the mountains of North Carolina. The Bulldogs and the Lions will play a doubleheader Saturday at 12 noon and a single game Sunday at 1 p.m.

 

            On Friday, the Wingate men’s and women’s tennis teams will entertain the Lincoln Memorial University squads at the WU Tennis Complex. The SAC twin bill will start one hour earlier at 1 p.m. The Wingate women will face NCAA Division II Southeast Region foe UNC Pembroke today (Thursday) at 2:30 p.m.

Wingate’s 43 Academic All-America® honorees (lifetime) is tops among all SAC schools.
