Banner Elk, N.C.----The NCAA Division II Southeast Region men’s tennis match between number 39 Wingate University and number 28 Lees-McRae College scheduled for today (Friday, April 8) has been canceled. Next on the agenda for the Bulldogs is the short trip to Coker College Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest with the Wingate women’s tennis team.
Wingate will celebrate Senior Day Saturday, April 16 at 12:15 p.m., prior to a 1 p.m. South Atlantic Conference twin bill versus Brevard College. The Bulldogs will honor seniors Kara Stasikelis (Greer, S.C.), Fernando Montemurro (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Braeden Patchell (Oakville, Ontario) and Louis Villarroel (Maraval, Trinidad) in the pre-match festivities on Saturday, April 16.
