FOR RECRUITS
UCLA is recognized as the #1 collegiate athletic powerhouse of the 20th century and into the 21st. The UCLA Bruins won more NCAA titles in the 20th century than any other university and were the first to 100 NCAA titles. Virtually all of the 22 sports in the program compete yearly for NCAA team and individual honors. If you are interested in becoming a Bruin please read the Scholarship Criteria before submitting your online Prospective Student-Athlete Questionnaire.

UCLA ATHLETICS
At UCLA, we recruit the finest student-athletes. Over the past five-plus decades, no school can match UCLA's combination of NCAA team and individual championships, football bowl games, men's basketball NCAA Tournament appearances and Olympic participation. UCLA recognizes that to compete at the national level demands a commitment of time and energy from student-athletes not normally required of other students. Consequently, we provide a variety of support services and resources to assist student-athletes with their academic success, personal well-being, individual development, and preparation for future endeavors. Our student-athletes come from every walk of life and from around the world. Their commitment to excellence makes them Bruins.

In April of 2005, Sports Illustrated On Campus stated:
"UCLA has the most complete athletic program in the country."

TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE
UCLA continues its tradition on into the 21st century as having the most impressive sports history of any college in the nation since 1950. Such greats as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Troy Aikman, Arthur Ashe, Jimmy Connors, Lisa Fernandez, Troy Glaus, Natalie Golda, Rafer Johnson, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Karch Kiraly, Liz Masakayan, Ann Meyers, Jonathan Ogden, Corey Pavin, Jackie Robinson, Al Scates, Sharon Shapiro, Chase Utley, Bill Walton, and John Wooden are just a few of the most significant people that have attended/coached at UCLA.
