GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Allegheny men's tennis team suffered a 6-3 setback against Grove City in non-conference action on Tuesday. The Gators had previously defeated Grove City, 6-3.

Matt Chiricosta (Avon Lake, Ohio/Saint Ignatius) was Allegheny's lone individual winner. He was victorious at first singles with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Ricky Garrett.

Chiricosta teamed with Ben Hurtuk as the pair won at first doubles against John Moyer and Kyle Johnson, 8-6. Eric Roginek (Fresh Meadows, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) and Zack Kerosky (Ashtabula, Ohio/Lakeside) scored a point at third doubles with an 8-3 win over Bill DeRocha and Jeremy Dwyer.

Allegheny (7-6) will play its next match on Saturday when it visits Oberlin. The North Coast Athletic Conference East Division match will begin at 2 p.m.
