Camp Facilities  -  Baylor Tennis Camp 2004
The camp will use tennis courts and facilities of Baylor University.

The new Baylor tennis facility  includes nine new outdoor courts, six indoor courts, a clubhouse and offices, and renovation of the current Streich courts.

The new facility is being built at the end of the Dutch Schroeder Athletic Plaza adjacent to the Baylor soccer field, Baylor Ballpark (baseball) and Getterman Stadium (softball).

Six individual outdoor courts are featured in a beautiful tree-lined amphitheater setting overlookin the Baylor Marina inlet. The outdoor courts also are individually enclosed for maximum player convenience.

A sloped viewing amphitheater overlooks the six initial outdoor courts, which are interconnected with an attractive and inviting landscaped walk system. Separate entrances for each court maximize player convenience, while covered courtside seating for 1,200 spectators  provide added comfort to competitors on even the hottest days.

The team clubhouse contains a pro shop, health training rooms, meeting rooms, public and team locker rooms and coaches offices. It also includes office space and locker rooms for the softball team.

The focal point of the complex is the center court, which is flanked by two additional courts which convert to seating for featured matches.

Six individual indoor tennis courts are the finest and most innovative tennis facility in the South and Southwestern United States,  feature a state-of-the-art tennis environment emphasizing indirect, highly reflective tennis lighting and individualized and separately enclosed tennis courts.
