Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College women's tennis opened their home schedule on Saturday afternoon with a win over the University of Buffalo 6-1.
The Eagles won five of six singles matches and two out of three of their doubles to post a victory over the University of Buffalo.
Seniors Lana Krasnopolsky and Lauren Cash both rallied after dropping their first sets for wins in the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots.
Fellow senior Alina Sullivan posted a victory in straight sets over Anna Subenkova 6-4,60 and sophomore Jackie Mabatah recored her first collegiate singles victory (6-1, 3-6, 1-0(7)).
In double play BC won both the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches with wins from partners Alina Sullivan and freshman Katarina Gajic and Krasnopolsky and sophomore Katharine Attwell.
The Eagles will host Brown University on Thursday February 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Weymouth.
