Mustangs, Matadors Dominate CSF Tennis Tourney

Fullerton, Calif. - Cal Poly in singles and Cal State Northridge in doubles will have the most players in Sunday's finals of the CSF Intercollegiates Women's Tennis Tournament at Cal State Fullerton. After two days of play, the Mustangs have a player in Sunday's finals of each of the three singles flights: Suzie Matzenauer will face UCLA's Alexandra Walters in Flight A; Maria Malec will vie with Julie Luzar of Long Beach State in Flight B and Jacelyn Davis goes against Miranda Young of UC Irvine in Flight C. In doubles, Cal State Northridge has a team alive in each Flight. Brooke Doane and Evgeniya Vertesheva are in Flight A finals vs. Nina Pantic and Ana Victoria Lind of UCLA while Nigora Sirijiddinova and Nina Jaworowski are in Flight B's finals against Natalia Salum and Laura Boquet of New Mexico State. Host Fullerton advanced only one player to the quarterfinals where Leslie Bullock was beaten by Pantic, 6-0, 6-0.
