Jaco is easily the most successful player to have ever represented the Bobcats. A two time winner of the prestigious Omni Hotels Regional Championship, Kruger has been ranked in the top 5 in NCAA Division II for the past two years, peaking at number one last Spring. Jaco’s main weapons are his serve and his forehand, but his leadership on and off the court may be his most valuable asset. He will look to improve his singles ranking which currently stands at 5th in the nation. Jaco is also ranked 13th in the nation in doubles.
Coach’s Quote: “Jaco’s results should shape the Bobcats season. He is a true MVP both on and off the court. He has continued to improve every semester, and I expect nothing less from him in his final season.”
Bobcat Fact: Entering the Spring 03’ season, Jaco needs just one more singles win to reach 100 career wins – the first time in Lees-McRae College history that any player has reached one hundred career victories.
