MEN'S TENNIS: Huskies Collect Big Regional Win Over MSUB

The St. Cloud State University men's tennis team (10-1) warmed up for their upcoming Spring Break trip to Florida with a big 9-0 victory over regional rival Montana State University-Billings in a match played at the Gold's Gym Tennis Center in nearby Sartell, Minn.
The Huskies made quick work of MSUB with singles victories by Wojciech Batorski (#1), Mike Master (#2), Ryan Schoenfeld (#3), Kris Johnson (#4), Shane Ecklund (#5) and Kevin Bauleke (#6). Batorski and Master reeled in an 8-1 win at #1 doubles, while Schoenefeld and Johnson scored an 8-4 win at #2 doubles. The sweep was completed with an 8-6 win by Ecklund and Jeremy Thompson at #3 doubles.
SCSU will travel south to Orlando, Fla. for a series of matches next week during the University's spring break.
