Orlando, FL. – The St. Cloud State University men’s tennis team (11-2) got back on track with a 5-4 victory over St. Leo’s University on March 9.
The match came down to the final contest between SCSU’s Shane Ecklund and St. Leo’s Jose Morales. Ecklund battled and came out victorious with a 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-2) at #5 singles. The Huskies also received wins in singles from Mike Master (#2), Kris Johnson (#4) and Alex Lesiuk (#6) Along with the triumphs in singles, SCSU’s #1 doubles team of Wojciech Batorski and Mike Master finished with an 8-1 victory.
The Huskies will return to action on March 11 with a match against Bentley College. Complete match results are listed below:
