The St. Cloud State University men's tennis team improved to 12-2 on the season with a big 9-0 win over Bentley University in a match played in Orlando, Fla. on March 11. Bentley falls to 5-5 on the season with the loss to the Huskies.
In doubles play, Wojciech Batorski and Kris Johnson gained an 8-2 win at #1 doubles. At #2 doubles, Jeremy Thompson and Shane Ecklund brought in an 8-2 win, while Ryan Schoenefeld and Alex Lesiuk won 8-3 at #3 doubles.
In singles play, Batorski posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at #1 singles, while Mike Master won at #2 singles. Johnson gained a 6-4, 7-5 win at #3 singles, while Schoenefeld won at #4 singles. Ecklund and Kevin Bauleke also won at #5 and #6 singles respectively.
SCSU will continue its Flordia trip on March 12, with a match against Michigan Tech and a match against Salve Regina.
