Sartell, MN.- The St. Cloud State University men’s tennis team furthered its winning season with a close 5-4 win against South Dakota State University, on March 21. This win moves the Huskies to an astounding 17-2 overall in the season.

 SCSU started by collecting wins at #1 doubles, with Wojciech Batorski and Kris Johnson with an 8-2 victory. Rounding off the doubles victories came at #2, with Ryan Schoenefeld and Shane Ecklund, posting an 8-4 triumph.

The Huskies found other wins in singles, with 3 out of the 6 matches bringing home victories. Wins were found with  Batorski (#1), Schoenefeld (#3) and  Ecklund (#4).

 SCSU will continue their season on March 27 with their final home match against St. John’s University.  The match will be played at 5 p.m. at Gold’s Gym Tennis Center in Sartell. Complete match results against South Dakota State are listed below:
