FAYETTEVILLE - The Razorbacks started a busy weekend with a 7-0 sweep of Louisiana-Lafayette Friday at the Dills Indoor Tennis Center. The Hogs continue to prove dominant in doubles, winning their third consecutive doubles point for the season. The team's lone loss was against the No. 8 Texas.

Sophomore Matt Walters picked up the first singles win for the Hogs, defeating Robert Voss of Louisiana-Lafayette, 6-1, 6-3. Junior Matthew Hogan, playing at No. 3 singles, gave Arkansas its third point over Yanick Mandl, 6-0, 6-3. Freshman Gregoire Lehmann tallied his third straight win as a Razorback with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over Piotr Olechowski. Lehmann clinched the match giving the Hogs a 4-0 over the Rajin Cajuns. Nikolas Zogaj and battled into a third set. Zogaj held his serve to win the match in the third set against Neil Schneider, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. No. 81 Christopher Nott stormed the court at the No. 1 singles position, defeating Tomasz Krzyszkowski in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1. 

On the final court, senior Dmitry Lebedev and Carlin Murray battled into a third set tiebreaker. Lebedev found a rhythm and overpowered the Cajun to win the match, 7-5, 3-6, 1-0(4).

In doubles action, Lebedev and Nott started the winning momentum with an 8-3 victory over Murray and Olechowski of Louisiana-Lafayette. On court three, the senior duo of Taylor King and Bradwin Williams defeated Robert Voss and Krzyszkowski of Louisiana-Lafayette, 9-7. Mandl and Krzszkowski took the early lead but Hogan and Walters fought back to even the score. Walters ended the match, 8-6, with an overhead smash.

Tennis action continues this weekend as the Hogs will return to host a doubleheader against Wichita State and Cowley County this Sunday. First serve at the Dills Indoor Center is set for 1 p.m. against the Shockers and again at 5 p.m. against the Lions.
